CS24C

I have owned and used a CS 24C, Fusion, Shockwave, Krakatoa II, WT 2030MS, WT Mighty Atom(3), and a host of other older, cheaper Callers (I am sort of an E-Caller Junkie). They all called in predators effectively.

I sure like my All Predator Calls CS 24C! Like all aspects of it. Durability, Portability, Volume, Clarity, Dependability, Simplicity, Ease of Use & Effectiveness for me make the CS 24C the BEST!

I have spoke for one of Rick Pallet's new Verminator Revolution Callers. Looks like a lot of fun. I am anxious to give it a try.

I have an SP-60 that I use with my fusion. The sp-60 is the same speaker as the CS24C, it's just a speaker. The sound quality is top notch. Crisp, clear, and makes good volume. The size is nice, easy to transport.

Adam T. Do you use the sp 60 as plugged in the front jack with both speaker turned off or do you use the front horn and plug the 60 in the rear jack and turn the rear speaker off? I use it like this and set the main horn and the sp 60 about 4 to 8 feet apart and the fox motion is wicked.

I plug the SP60 in the rear jack. Have the front speaker on and rear speaker off. I also space the SP60 and Fusion a couple feet apart and point each in an a little bit of an angle, trying to create a "V" shaped sound cone. Sometimes the setup is a little tricky when hanging the Fusion and SP60 in a tree or fence, but I still try to space them if I can and I always try to point them for the "V". And I too use the FoxMotion feature. I use to not always run the SP60 when I had a Crossfire, but after I got the Fusion, I always use the dual speaker setup so I can run FoxMotion.

I have the exact same setup, for the exact same reasons. For me, it was between what I bought and the CS24C. The TX1000 was a must for me, so much more readable. In the end, the Fusion/SP60 won out due to the portability and the fact that I do not need high volume all the time. If I needed/wanted high volume all the time, I would have gone with the CS24C, a few less features and only one unit to carry.

I had lot of people told me the fusion and the sp60 was the better route than the shockwave. I have the fusion/60 now and my friend has the shockwave and besides portability I like my setup better. Smaller when I don't need the volume and loud when I need it to be.

How does the CS24C do on lower volume situations? I most certainly don't want blistering loud in most all situations, I just want the best\clear sound I can. (With the TX-1000 remote)

I ordered the CS-24C and the sound was staticky. Called Foxpro and they assured me it was not normal. Either a amp is bad or speaker is bad. Foxpro or allpredatorcalls (where I bought it) has any more in stock and no one knows when they will be. Should I hold out for another or get something else?

I believe I'd send it to FoxPro to find out for sure what is wrong. That being said, the CS-24C or any of the models that use the TX1000 remote will serve you well. I prefer the Fusion and a SP60 speaker.

I returned it already. They just called and informed me they don't have any more and don't know when they will. I like the fusion with the extra speaker idea, but that really hurts portability. I move a lot and like to put some miles on my boots.

In my opinion, it is hard to beat the portability the way I am set up. Unless you want to carry your ecaller in your hand or with a shoulder strap, a well chosen carry bag works well. I have posted about how I am set up several times, with a Fieldline bag which works perfectly for the Fusion and SP60 separated by a piece of dense blue foam. If I want to use both, they are handy.

This bag came from Walmart and has extra pockets for other gear. Total weight of my setup is about 11 pounds. It is quiet and well organized which works for me. I am sure others have other methods.

I'm in the market myself right now for a foxpro and I'm scratching my head with all of the options. Carrying two items? Would it be a better idea just going with the prairie blaster? I like a decoy, decisions decision.

Fusion with the decoy, loud, lightweight and doesn't kill batteries. Hard to beat this setup imo.

Carry a bag with whatever you want in it.

What Bail says is basically my approach. Here is a picture of the Fieldline bag I use that lets me carry the Fusion, the SP60, and all my other goodies. Might not suit everyone, but it has worked well for me.
