Custom calls... how do they rate?

I am also eager to get my hands on an open reed attachment for mine(and I don't even have it yet). I asked Mr. Lux to put me on any waiting list there might be for one of them. By the way, one of your calls will be mine someday (hopefully soon) as well!! You do beautiful work from the photos I've seen and your rep preceds you!!

Mr Cronk in my earlier post I said I have 3 Tally-ho's in which only one really works. What do you charge to make a Tally-ho a "Custom Cronks Tally" the Ho done got up and LEFT!!!

I'll let you work on the one that only wants to stick the reed down. If you can get it to play the rabbit blues you can make any BAD CALL into a good Call.

Let me know if you want to take on the job and it will be on its way.

I havn't charged anyone for the Tally-ho tuneups as of yet. I don't really want to charge you money either. You say that you have two Tally-ho's that don't work, and I don't have a Tally ho of my own anymore. Would you be interested in sending me both of those Tally's that don't work, and let me keep one of em & send you one really good one back? I will send extra reed for you also. Those of us who are not paying advertisers here on PM would be violating the TOS if we were to say how much we charge, where our websites are so you can look, or offer them for sale here.

As far as I know everyone who makes calls here that is not an advertiser, has their e-mail address posted, I know I do... so that may be the best way for you to find out.
Sorta like buyin' beer for minors... I would love to give you my prices, a list of my call types and show some photos... but I am not breakin' the law for your entertainment! lol /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

If anyone has trouble finding any of the great call makers who frequent this site, please let me know... I'd be glad to hook you up with the info you need!

Well, danged if I didn't get another present in the mail today. A very compact, and loud Wildside "Predatr Call". Tried it out at lunch time, but nothing was in that area. I'll give it a good workout this weekend. I love field testing! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Thanks Mr. Homman.
 
I just got my Lux call. OH MY GOSH is it awesome!!! It is not a fancy looking thing but does it sound incredible!! I ca not WAIT to use this in the field!!!
 
Here's some that I got in the mail from Slydog on a swap. Beautifully made and easy to blow for good volume wiyhout blowing yourself dizzy. Easy to hold in your mouth and blow leaving your hands free to do what you are there to do. Everone I show them to loves them
