I got alot of land. Lot of of game. Do alot of walking scouting thinking enjoying mother nature. I would like a versatile over under 12 gauge but i cant decide between 22 mag 22-250 or .223 rifle. I would like to varmint hunt. But also kill rabbits and squirrels if i needed. And also i know this gonna it to some ethics debate but deer to eat. Not monster buck type hunting just doe poppin. The most prolific poor backwood hillbilly poacher i know swears by the 22 mag and he's not the only one. weather or not ethics is at debate the 22 mag have taken plenty of deer and hogs. And im sorry there are no ethics in killing. Shot placement i know with the 50grain mag game shock would get the job done. And 22 mag and slug or 00 for the second shot i dont think would be a issue. 40 grain 22-250 head shots on rabbits would work but be over kill. Be.better than the 22 mag. Where i live there is a fall 22 mag turkey hunt. For a over all walking hunter/truck gun for versatility what would you go for. im becoming a minimalist tired of loading for and switching back and forth. i want a fine hunting rifle im sick all these heavy varmint/sniper rifles I have. gonna keep my 7mm mag for trophy hunting and 10/22 but move alot of my other stuff for high end over under well handling rifle. Any Scope suggestions thanks to all
