Custome Lic. Plate????

So I am getting ready to register one of my 2 hunting rigs and want to get a custome plate that reflects hunting. I hunt alot for elk, deer and predators. Some thoughts are something like YOTHNTR, ELKHNTR, I like the FurDown plate, but hate to step on any toes. The vehicle is an 85 cj that I have been rebuilding, so even a catchy jeep or off road plate would be cool... So lets see some of the various plates that i might want.
 
I'm actually waiting to see FURDWN, FURDWN2, etc to start poping up. Certainly would make for an interresting parking lot at the annual hunt.,
 
FURDOWN has already been taken, for CO. It just hasn't been delivered yet. The story I get from DMV is that the stamping press at the prison broke down. So they had to order and set up a new press. The designer plates are back ordered 2 months. I've been waiting 3 months for mine. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
 
Gues that I will have to find the vehicle and take it out... better watch your back NASA..... Cause FURDWN will be looking for you..... Oh well, make for a great train of vehicles if we manage to get together for a day chasing birds again.

I'm seriously consdering doing "frdwn" on a Utah Wildlife or Boy Scout "special edition" plate. (only holds 5 charecters plus "special" graphic) It's a little more ambiguous, but I think it has possibilites. Plus, I would enjoy seeing all the faces of people struggling to figure out what exactly my plates meant. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif But not only do you get hit with the vanity plate fee, these plates have additional fees to generate funds for relatively worthy causes. Utah does offer a "no more homeless pets" plate, imagine the implications of having such a slogan thereon. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I just think you need to move to a state that hasn't had FURDOWN spoken for yet. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif I don't think California is represented yet. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif
 
Just got turned down in TX as not being politically correct.

We have a plate that says "FIGHT TERRORISM" across the bottom. I requested that plate personalized with "KILMALL".
