CZ 221 fireball back in production?

Would like to see a sporter weight 17 Rem as well, they would sell like hotcakes IMO.Originally Posted By: CoyotejunkiI would like to get a CZ in 221FB. I found and bought a new in box CZ 17 Rem Varmint just a couple of weeks ago. Probably won't shoot it. They are out there, but they are like hens teeth.

They posted that last year too and then took it down...along with 17 Rem.

I have one each (.221fb,.17 rem)Have not had a chance to work on any hand loads for the FB but have for the 17.Out of the box it will shoot some real tiny groups. The largest were around 3/4' the smallest were all in one hole.Cant wait for spring. If you're on the fence about trying a 17Rem this would be a good place to start.I like mine so much if it is offered like they say il buy another.

CZ Europe emailed me today and told me they'd be sending some 527's in 221 to a Canadian distributor. I am pumped!

Quote:Just wanted to let everyone know that bud's gun's has one in stock right now. Ordered mine on Monday.

Shows to be out of stock on their website. I don't see it offered anywhere else.

Picking mine up today. It was out of stock for a day after I ordered mine and than showed back in stock for a few days. I would keep watching and see if another one shows up back in stock.

I just got back from picking my 221 up from my local FFL dealer. He didn't even charge me a transfer fee since he hadn't been able to order me one over the last 2 or 3 years. I was very pleased with the wood in the stock. The pictures doesn't do it justice, it is a extremely nice piece of wood. I hope to have a scope on it by next week. Ordered a 4-14 x 40mm scope which should be good for this little rifle. I got 100 pieces of Nosler brass to get me started into reloading for this rifle.
