Cz 75

I would like to buy a nice steel frame accurate full size handgun. Been reading a lot about the cz75. Went to find one and I am overwhelmed at the options. I do not shoot competitively but would like a gun that is capable. Been reading over safety vs decocking. I am not afraid of having to lower the hammer on the safety version. I will carry this sometimes when out on the farm but not its main role is target shooting/ defense at the house. What model is recommended by you all?

None of the stores where I live carry them... so I can’t go hold one and see for my self.

Thanks

I have only shot a couple CZ75 pistols. Each time was great, no doubt they have earned a great reputation for good reasons. Can't help you with which variant to choose, sorry. I will add that I wouldn't overlook Beretta and Sig pistols. Both make full size pistols (though maybe not steel frame) that are great handguns also.

Cz pistols are great.
Pick one that you like.
Another option is a EAA witness match.
They are a cz clone and can be had in more chamberings like 45 acp and 10mm.
Love the 10mm rd,plenty of power to kill deer and bear.

I own some CZ pistols and rifles. I would say a 75B would serve you well.
The only steel frame that is not cast is from Rock Island Armory.
1911 GI Standard FS 9mm, 5" Barrel, 10+1 Rounds.
These are made from a solid block of steel.
Old 1911 Colt pattern, simple but solid.
Right now everything is very to find anything.
There some very good companies that sell on auction sites.
