Ok, been doing some research on the night optics d760 and I read on another forum that they were basically junk and had plastic gears and paper washers in them. And they had a hard time of them holding zero. Have any of you had any trouble from one?
Thanks

I have killed many Coyotes with my D740 and have never had an issue othe than replacing the batteries.

I think you may have gotten some bad info somewhere?

read the same thing ! but after I had purchased a used D740 . many coyotes and pigs later my paper washers and plastic gears keep working great.

And I know where that 4-5 year ago postings came from and the owner and parties involved with vicous attacks against any products we offered.

I've been running my D760 for the last TEN YEARS without a hickup and HUNDREDS upon HUNDREDS of this optic sold to so many of our customers since that time. I've done countless reviews long ago putting my D-760 against the top Raptor at that time. (I guess I should shake the dust off my reviews awhile from back and repost how good the D760 performed against an 8K optic at that time).

Futher the point I can count the number of returns due to so called plastic parts, so called taped reticles etc. With all that said we've had ONE system retuned for warranty work for a power knob stripped out. That is it and people know me that I would NEVER mislead on a product.

The D-Series scopes have stood the LONG test of time in a big way vs. some other Russian type gear out there.

I hope this dispels this ONE forum out there with "certain" individuals with an axe to grind.

Buy in confidence from any reputable dealers here on PM. The D-Series scopes are a SOLID time tested unit with THOUSANDS of rounds down range.

Rant off...

To the OP. Not sure if you're the one that called us last week and you asked me the same thing. I told you this info over the phone and now stating it again publicly. I got nothing to hide...

One year ago I bought a one year old used D730. It has been absolutely flawless and for the money I couldn't justify any need of trying to upgrade or get something else considering the ranges in which I use it.

Hey thanks for the info. I was not the one you talked with on the phone though

Remember seeing that post also. Bought a 740 and have had it about a year and no problems with function. The lens has gotten a little "dusty" looking when looking through it. Like you sprinkled it lightly with bits of pepper. I understand that at times after firing even under clean conditions a little can shake of. Contacted them and they said send it in any time, they will issue tag and take care of it and get it back within the week. Doesn't affect anything but just gradually noticed it. Very nice lady I talked to. Having to much fun with it now to bother with sending it in.

Thanks for all the good info. I'm very new to the night vision game, so my knowledge is limited,so thats why i asked.sounds like it could have been a touchy subject at one point.

I've had my 760 for 1 year now. All I can say is that every time that I rotate the power switch, it comes on. I don't abuse my gear, but I don't baby it either. My 760 has held zero %100. The bullet impacts where the cross hairs are pointed.
I have no complaints with mine.
