I can assure you they shoot, well at least the 17FB I got does. I have been thinking about another one in 20VT. But with the 17FB and a pair of 221's I think I have that area covered pretty well. I think I may go on the hunt for a 17AH, or a K-Hornet.

The 2006 Chapter 11 filing was "resolved" in 2007 when the South Dakota courts ordered the asset of the company be sold to pay creditors. The only bidder was Charlie Kokesh and his merry band of investors and lawyers who were the same folks who ran the company into the ground in the first place. In essence the courts sold the hen house back to the fox who was previously accused of killing chickens.

Mr. Kokesh is an investor who is not unfamiliar with the court system....

If they were to go belly up again, it really wouldn't be too surprising... They make a fine rifle, but I'm not sure I would give them any money unless they could hand me a rife in return at the same time, or unless I could buy one off the shelf from one of their outlet gun stores.

Don Allen would probably roll over in his grave if he could see what happened to the company he founded.
