Daytime double with the pcp air rifle

Nope, just a pair of Rekon shooting sticks
Rotty, great job on putting down a double.
And just in case you didn’t know, I was just poking a little fun at a recent new member’s “contributions?” to the forum. Some of us got schooled pretty good on tripods.

Firearm tripods are built to absorb strong recoil, support heavier loads, and offer rapid height changes.
PCP rifle tripods focus on negligible recoil, ultra-fine micro-adjustments, lighter weight, and low-profile setups.

Just sayin? ;)

Probably fun and economical to shoot, probably accurate, obviously deadly. But I've got to tell you, it looks like it would be as much fun to carry around as an extension ladder.
It's really not bad, pretty light
.....what he said, no way I knew all that technical stuff about air rifle tripods until a few days ago.
Ill have to look for the post

I've been trying to get a poke at a coyote in my front yard with my .177 marauder for some time. Last night I finally got my chance. I could barely make him out in the scope as it was almost to dark to see at all. Pulled the trigger on a frontal head shot at about 25- 30 yrds and heard a funny pop.

Forgot to close my bolt. DOH! It trotted off.🙄

Haven't seen any coyotes in front of my house since me last post but bait is still being eaten. Did get spotted on my roof at night with a red light last night by some people out for a walk. Figured since the Charlie Kirk incident i better cut my losses before I have a run in with Johnny law.
My Cousins kid and I come home right at noon from shooting a lr match and guess who's walking down the middle of the road right in front of my house but Mr. Coyote. I just stop and observe. It walked towards my house, then over to where I bait, then straight towards me sitting in my truck with motor running in the middle of the road and finally makes a turn out into the empty lot in front of my house.
Wtf? Mid day? No rhyme or reason as to when they are showing up.
