Decisions, decisions! Tikka T3 or Remington VTR in .223

They come with a brake machined in from the factory. Which would be your only option, I believe, to get a brake on that barrel. Honestly, it would be easier and the same cost overall to swap the barrel in either case.

Thanks pahntr, that is correct, it came that way. I actually want to get it cut off, barrel threaded and add suppressor.

Wish in one hand a you know what in the other for now.

Never has a vs, but have added 2 tikkas in the last year and a half. They are so smooth, you need to give them a hard look.
Accuracy is great as well. Boyd's make some great aftermarket stocks if you want to dress them up.

I would find either a different factory take off or just retube it...seems easier than messing with what you have now.

Tikka's are hard to beat! Just ordered another. CTR in 260 REM.
Will be doing the the upgrades to it also.

those look real sharp Dasher, nice!

I dialed in my T3 223 today, 53gr Hornady HP handloads. 3 groups at 100y, 3 shots per group. .77", .66", .59"

Packed the target out to 365 yards to check drop and put 5 shots inside 2.3"! Awesome
