Decoy stalking piece of ....

This coyote came to my turkey calls this morning and when he saw my decoy he put on a quick stalk. Crouched low coming in until the burst of speed about 15 yards from the decoy. The face full of #6 heavy shot ended it just before he hit the decoy. I don't see how they survive with the numbers of ticks he had on him. Tuff son of a guns they are.

I'll take a coyote over a turkey any day... but that is just me

Yes my buddies always tell me they don't understand why I screw up my deer hunting by shooting at coyotes during deer season. I always say I'm just glad a deer didn't come buy and screw up my coyote hunting!

I'm not a turkey hunter but I have a few friends who have had coyotes come in on their turkey decoy. A friend just got a coyote mount back that came into his decoy last year.
