deer and acorns

How do deer find acorns? Can they smell them or do the find them by sight or touch?

well im not an expert but i would say im pretty good on deer. I have always heard that they fin them by scent, and sight. The buck i arrowed last year came into my setup eating acorns the whole way in. Then he got a whiff of that magic 2 drop supreme and that was the end............

So if deer can smell acorns then does anyone make a acorn scented deer atractent?

I remember someone making scent wafers that were acorn scented. I'm getting old though and can't remember the name of the company.
