Paul Harvey gave this prophetic monologue in 1965. Such wisdom, knowledge and foresight is a rare accomplishment today. I think we could all check off each topic and see its fulfillment in our society. What a shame! I don't look around to find a place or person to blame as I hold myself accountable as part of the demise of our American society. My reason for saying that is because I look back, as we all do, and remember those times when I should have been more vocal or active to defend our God given rights that have sustained us for over 200 years. I trifled with the enticements the world offers and finally came to my senses in 1974 when I repented and ask forgiveness of the Lord Jesus Christ. My life has radically changed, not immediately, but is a continuing work in progress. I have learned not to compromise my faith or my allegiance to God and country.
Give thanks unto the Lord for He is good!

Paul Harvey was a fixture in our house when I was growing up. Came on at noon and we never missed an episode. Can hear him say, "and now for the rest of the story" and "Paul Harvey, good day." Graduated high school in 54 and Paul Harvey spoke at the commencement for the class of 53....needless to say I couldn't miss that! Guess that qualifies as the good ol days.

Trump Says He Is Canceling All Biden Executive Orders Signed With Autopen
WASHINGTON—President Donald Trump announced on Nov. 28 that he is revoking all executive orders that were signed with an autopen under then-President Joe Biden.

“The Autopen is not allowed to be used if approval is not specifically given by the President of the United States,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“I am hereby canceling all Executive Orders, and anything else that was not directly signed by Crooked Joe Biden, because the people who operated the Autopen did so illegally.”

Palisades fire recovery still at zero homes rebuilt: When wildfires in Los Angeles consumed much of the upscale neighborhood known as the Pacific Palisades, California Gov. Gavin Newsom promised he'd ensure that red tape — the state's onerous building regulations — would be cut in order to ensure a quick and not-too-costly rebuild of the area. However, 10 months have passed since the fires, and just one house has been rebuilt — and that house had been scheduled for demolition prior to the wildfires. Thus, to date, none of the hundreds of homes destroyed by the wildfires has been rebuilt. While 371 houses are currently undergoing reconstruction, some 1,100 are still awaiting building permits from Los Angeles County. So much for Newsom's promises.
