#Minnesota Gov. Walz announces a new welfare program for Somali migrants is about to launch, even though they've already committed $9 billion in welfare fraud.

The new taxpayer funded family and medical leave program gives Somalis up to 20 paid weeks off a year “bond” with a child

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is championing the rollout of the state's new Paid Family and Medical Leave program.

Critics say this will just become another avenue for Somalis to defraud the American people.

Walz described the initiative as an "insurance program" designed to support families without forcing tough choices.

Walz signed it into law in 2023—but its impending 2026 implementation has reignited debate amid ongoing fraud probes.

It's to be funded by personal income taxes.
