So, again, Why does President Trump consider Putin a friend (in any sense of the word)? Putin is not America’s friend.
 
Businessmen (like a Donald Trump) know nothing about the politics, or the history, of how communism or the communists work.

Lenin himself once said that the long term strategy to defeat the capitalists in the West, ie, the U.S., was that Russia would have to make the West believe that it was changing to a new, more friendly, capitalistic society. This, in turn, made Western businessmen here in America believe there was new opportunities, partnerships, and profits, ie, money, money, money to be made with these communists who were “reforming” their tyrannical ways.
Nixon and Kissinger did the same with the Communists of China and here we are today facing a dual threat with the Russians and Chinese working together “One Clenched Fist”.

In reality, the Communists laugh all the way to the bank, using Western technology and money to build up their own wealth and military strength to use decades later against that very superpower country (the golden goose US) to destroy it. Once it is destroyed, the rest of the world would be conquered and controlled by Communists, Communism.

Mao once said (paraphrasing) Bring the capitalists in, make deals with them on Friday, make them rich on Saturday, and schedule their execution on Monday…

I don't think it's that he wants to be friends as much as it is that President Trump is trying to avoid WWIII or a massive worldwide conflict.

I see where you're coming from on the side of the fence that thinks Ukrain's problems ought to be our problems and the truth is that Ukriane is not in Amrican interests to be involved there. It just isn't no matter how you want to try to slice that.

The little dictator there is a wildman nutjob and the Ukrianian people would probably be better off under russia anyways.

NATO should be cut off of funding as well, one of the main drivers of constant conflict and eseantially global takeover through their expansionism program where they have no authority to be taking over to begin with.

Ukraine doesn't do squat for American interests. We owe them nothing despite the tens of billions the crooks in DC have thrown at that little dictator crook in Ukraine (Laundering it back to themselves.) who just keep demanding more and more...there is no end to it and we can't afford it anymore. We can't afford this level of fraud nor should the American people continue to tolerate it.

Well, I can pull up quotes if ya like of “the Don”himself praising Putin, explaining that Putin is a buddy of his and that Trump only needs to talk with him to end the war in Ukraine. That’s worked out well, eh? Since what January ‘25?

How about all the data we (here in the U.S.) have collected on the new battlefield, the future that our own military will face one day, aka drone warfare that the Ukrainians have used against and proven a valid adversary against their Russian communist invaders. And how about all these American defense companies here that are making bank on the current war? Not far from where I live, in SW Missouri, there’s a company in West Plains Missouri, who makes parts for actual battlefield equipment being used by the Ukrainians in the current war against the Russians. That’s just one…just one, of the many companies here who provide Americans jobs…jobs…hmmm, Ukraine doesn’t do squat for American interests? Tell that to the men and women here who work for those companies.

And, you can thank those Ukrainians for delaying the mobilization, buildup for war that Russia and China have already employed, begun in their preparations to attack us here.
You, as so many conservative Republican faithful, want to believe we have nothing to fear from Russia, and listen to Trump all the time about how we need to go it alone, along with quoting George Washington about America not having alliances, suddenly isolating ourselves from our Allies of almost 100 years, ie, our trade partners of Europe (NATO). Hint: without those nations in Europe, those nations that know what it’s like to be ruled by Communists? You and I would not have the current standard of living we have enjoyed for over a century.

Like it or not, the Republican Party, conservative media personalities, like Tucker Carlson for one, and the MAGA movement has been infiltrated by the same enemy, Communists, that took over the Democrats in the early 80’s.

I heard conservative author and activist Trevor Louden say this on a recent podcast and I have to agree.

“I've been thinking a little bit recently about George Washington's farewell address and because there's a big argument on the Right, of course, that we should not intervene, we should not have alliances, we should go it alone, we shouldn't get involved in foreign entanglements, as though we're living in 1776. And George Washington in his farewell address said something along the lines of, in the times of emergency, we should make alliances and be very glad of it. Well, I would posit that since 1917, we've been living in a century long emergency, and that alliances are very necessary.

We're not living in 1776, where it was just one prince fighting another prince over territory or religion. We're living in a time where the ideologies, the Marxist, Leninism, Eurasianism, fascism are on the march. And we must, every free country, must be working with every other free country to combat this.

So this is the time for alliances. This is not the time for non-intervention.

This is not the time for isolationism.

This is the time for a vigorous, aggressive foreign policy and military policy against our enemies. This is our duty to end the evil empire in our time. And we have the opportunity to do this.“

Yes needs to be followed up on with as much vigor as if it was a demonstration or protest was at a mosque.
A house or place of worship is a protected space from such activities. To veil it as 1st Amendment is just a plot to pit the freedoms to erode the very same framework that protects them. There is a time and place for everything, a place of worship is just that a place of worship. Just my un asked 2 cents on the topic

That's the lefty position on the situation there...putting all the foreign countries interests and their problems ahead of your own country, but that's your opinion and you're entitled to it...democrats and the swamp got us involed there.

You're saying our government is more corrupt than Ukriane ever was but we can rely on our corrupt government to fix the corruption in a foreign country by throwing vast sums of taxpayer dollars at foreign countries which do not have anything to do with American taxpayers.

How much more American taxpayer money should we continue to allow our corrupt government to throw away at that quagmire to keep that little cokehead puppet zelenskyy living his rock and roll lifestyle while his own people suffer because of his antics, but more importantly the American taxpayers who are struggling to make ends meet...

I think we need to put America first this time. We have our own problems here that are in reality the top priority...problems which have been manufactured by that deep state you claim to be opposed to while supporting their agenda to keep our country engaged in foreign conflicts that are none of our business or in our interests.
