Ok, well I’ve sat back quietly for a while (10 days now, since actually writing, commenting on a post) just to observe the reaction). You all did not disappoint and as I expected.
Just a microcosm of the ever dissipating element, participation of so called “conservative” minded folks, voter block. The moderator here buried any discussion with his constant bullshit memes.
Stu Farish? You did a great job to illustrate so well here on this antiquated forum what’s wrong with our country today. 60 second posts/views of ridiculous memes burying any real conversation. No real conversation allowed. Just you, the God…the moderator…who overloaded the subject with bs memes. Social media wins!

Laziness wins No discussion allowed…by design. Don’t wanna stir shit up. And you’ll surely get others who subscribe to your own way of thinking to figuratively pump their fists in the air, fist bump or simply chant ‘’Murica!!! And…post more ridiculous memes. Oh and…tell us all that Donald Trump is the solution.
(I happen to be a guy that subscribes to a conservative viewpoint morally and spiritually). But President Trump is on the wrong side of a lot of the issues. I can get in depth on these but most just wanna watch a 15 second meme and move on. Typical uneducated voters these days.

FAT POLAR BEARS: This week marked the 20th anniversary of the release of Al Gore’s “documentary” and eco-apocalypse horror movie, “An Inconvenient Truth.” That inspired a number of writers to look back on it and point out all the doomsday predictions that never materialized, like Florida being underwater. But one of the most memorable images that has scared innocent school children for years is that of a starving polar bear clinging to a small piece of ice in a melted Arctic. What will happen to the poor polar bears?!

Well, now we know: they’ve gotten healthier and fatter.

A study in Scientific Reports says that researchers analyzed 1,188 records from 770 adult polar bears collected between 1992 and 2019. They discovered that “both male and female bears showed increases in body weight and fat reserves, indicating improved overall condition.” As one researcher put it, fatter means better.

So at least that’s one positive accomplishment that Al Gore can claim.
 
NEXT LEVEL UNLOCKED: We Have Reached “Peak Democrat” – FCC Chair Brendan Carr tweeted that the agency is about to vote on a plan to make sure funds for the Lifeline programs only go to qualified and living applicants and not dead people. Democrats are angrily opposing it. Gill wrote, “You can’t make it up.”

To be fair, they do have to look out for their most loyal voting bloc.

You can't or shouldn't put it all on one mans shoulders. President Trump didn't manufacture all the problems...the hords of politicians before him did for the last several dacades.
 
DEMOCRATS DON’T WANT YOU TO KNOW THIS: All the Democrat politicians and celebrities who are crying over the deportation of illegal alien criminals would prefer we not know the staggering cost of keeping them here. Aside from the cost in human life and the suffering of their victims, plus all the social net costs and the fraud inherent in that, even when they’re incarcerated, they’re bleeding us dry.

The Independent Sentinel reports that during a Senate Finance Committee hearing, Utah Sen. Kyle Harris revealed that there are currently 250 illegal alien felons imprisoned in Idaho. Each one costs taxpayers $95 a day for a total of $8.7 million a year. Again, that’s just in Idaho.

Maybe that’s why Democrats keep letting felons out of prison: it’s the only government cost-cutting method they believe in.

The Sentinel also offered a theory for why Democrats are fighting so passionately against deporting illegal aliens. The counting of illegal aliens in the 2020 Census is estimated to have shifted 14 House seats to blue states, with red states losing 10 and battleground states losing four. Without them, 17 electoral votes would also shift.

They quote the Center for Immigration Studies: “Of the 24 districts where one in five adults is not an American citizen, twenty were won by a Democrat in 2022. However, Democrats won in just five of the 54 districts where 98 percent of adults are citizens.”

Without illegal aliens tilting the Census, the Democrats would become a permanent minority party. This is why they need them so badly: They’d never be put in charge of running America if we let Americans make that decision.
