MIRAC calls for the legalization of all illegal aliens, including criminals and even child rapists, and the end of any kind of immigration laws. Its toolkit encourages the harassment of federal immigration law enforcement personnel, reporting sightings of officers trying to arrest illegal alien criminals, and confronting them. State Sen. Omar Fateh, another Somali ally of Rep. Ilhan Omar, had rallied with MIRAC and supported its demand to arrest federal immigration officers.

(I happen to be a guy that subscribes to a conservative viewpoint morally and spiritually). But President Trump is on the wrong side of a lot of the issues. I can get in depth on these but most just wanna watch a 15 second meme and move on. Typical uneducated voters these days.

Why have I not engaged in a conversation? It would be like getting a socialist to agree with me. Pointless discussion. easier to ignore the B.S. IMHO.
To me it would be best to start your own thread vs hijacking another. Just a opinion.

FAKE NEWS: The latest attempt to smear ICE is a video posted on X that purports to show ICE agents illegally detaining and pistol-whipping an unaccompanied migrant teenager and tackling him to the curb as he’s holding his hands up. It’s actually a video from 2022 of the Anaheim Police chasing down a fleeing carjacking suspect. It even says “Anaheim Police” on the back of their jackets.
 
UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES: The partial government shutdown is still going on, but by forcing it, Democrats may have handed Republicans a silver lining on a silver platter. Senate Majority Leader John Thune is reportedly planning to use a procedure known as a standing filibuster to bring the SAVE Act to the floor and pass it with fewer than 60 votes.

The SAVE (Safeguard American Voter Eligibility) Act is a package of election integrity reforms like voter ID that have overwhelming public support and that already passed the House, but Senate Democrats have been blocking it from coming to a vote for over 300 days. For some reason, Democrats are adamantly opposed to common sense laws that ensure honest elections. “Why” is a mystery. They usually claim they’re racist, even though large majorities of minorities support them.

If this passes, it could not only save America by blocking election fraud, it could also save the Republicans. Many MAGA voters are angry at Congressional Republicans for not passing it already, but it’s been held up by the filibuster. If this is a way to pass it without having to kill the filibuster, then thanks will be due to the Democrats who inadvertently set the stage for it with their blind hatred of immigration enforcement.
