Completely unrelated to what you asked for... but pro bed 2000 is just as good. However, I think their kit is as much as Devcon so I probably could have just saved you the time of reading this...

The steel you're asking for will cause the action to rust where it's sits in the bedding. Go with something without steel in it, there's no need for it with the strength of the epoxies available. But if you really want steel in the bedding go with JB Weld.

For years, I've had over a half dozen rifles bedded with Devcon and two
with JB Weld --- no rust issues whatsoever. And Iowa is NOT without
humidity.
