Can't eat the horns, but they are nice to look at!!! Someday I will draw a moose tag here in Montana. Maybe!!!! Rudy

Maybe someday I'll make it to Montana to shoot an elk!
Had to drive a good ways to the hunting area for this moose. I was in a low priority pool for the moose tag draw and needed to apply to some of the less populated / less popular hunting areas. Worked out though. All we have here are moose and caribou where I live. Though the caribou numbers are quite low and only a few hundred licenses are given out each year, pretty much impossible to get a license. I miss the days when I lived far north and the caribou numbers were high, was no trouble to get one then.
