Dicks sporting goods?

I have a Sportsmans Warehouse about a ten minute drive from my front door. I work there part time when I am not throwing bad guys into jail so I should know how long it takes to get there. Also live within 3 hours or so of Cabelas. Both are above and beyong the rest except maybe Bass Pro Shops which I imagine are pretty well run as well. I have never been in Bass Pro but would if I ever get the chance. Dicks is a joke.
 
I've never been in a Dick's but they must be good for something. I visit a Shotgun board and they are talking all the time about the great deals they get for bulk purchases on Shotgun shells at Dick's.
 
The only Dick's store I've been in was about 75% athletic sports equipment and 25% outdoor sports. Everything I looked at was much higher in price than Bass Pro or Cabelas. Didn't see ANY good deals. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif
 
The Dicks Sporting Goods store in Salt Lake is a decent place. We have a couple of Sportsmans Warehouses and a Cabella's to get our hunting stuff from. I just picked up a new Taylor Made r580 driver from Dicks at lunch today. $50.00 cheaper than most golf stores in the valley.
