dies press and dies of different make?

i want to start loading my own rounds. i have question about press from make and dies from another- lee, hornady, rcbs. can i use different makes together or stay with the same make? i would like some help before i start buy equipment. i have a couple of crates of brass that i want to load.

They are interchanchable even the shellholders not sure on the lees but I have redding and hornady shellholders that I use in my ribs press

thats good to know. any body have any info on LEE stuff. money wise i was thinking on getting a press from them.

I use lee dies and shell holders on my rcbs so they will interchange

Most modern equipment will interchange...There are some old presses and die sets out of the 1920s and 1930s that were specific to manufacturer...Since World War 2, most is compatible with each other...

i use lee redding and RCBS all the time together

thats sme good info guys. now i can start looking for stuff on the ads here. limited budget i can`t go out and buy all new set up.
