Dillon powder measure wobble?

I have a Dillon RL 450 and it came out with the manual powder measure. I had to push the knob to drop the powder charge. 4 or 5 years later, I up graded to the new(then)case activated powder measure. I just noticed the powder measure wobbles around at the top of the ram's stroke more than I think it should. I disassembled it and saw a big space surronding the drop tube where the powder funnel engages the drop tube that is permanently attached to the powder measure. It seems there needs to be a bushing surrounding the drop tube to take out this slop(wobble). Have I lost something over the years or is this the way it is? There is a lot of room between the drop tube and the housing it moves up in. Maybe 1/8" all around the drop tube.
Thanks, Flyrodder

Yep, you have apparently lost the nylon bushing which is approximately 1/8" thick. Give Dillon a call and I'll bet they send you another one.

My inter-net connection is dial-up so it takes me a while to get things done. While you were correctly answering my question, I was down loading the manual for the 550B press which has the same powder measure.
Somewhere along the line I've lost the Collar Sleeve, Part #13845.
Thanks for your help.

Just got off the phone with Dillon. Parts are on the way. Dillon has GREAT customer service.

Also did a little upgrade to my RL450 press while I was talking to them.

Dillon customer service can't be beaten!

I got my first 450 nearly 30 years ago. Loaded a minimum of 100 rounds of 30-06 target ammo per week for at least 15 years and it is still going strong. Recently purchased another Dillon press used and when I put it together a small plastic part (can't rmember which one) was missing. Called Dillon, told them I purchased the press used and they sent replacement part no charge!

It doesnt get any better than that!
