dirty ammo?

I brought my new AR to the range this weekend all the spent rounds were black about 3/4 ways up.I cant remember my other rifle ever doing that.
I was shooting (new) Black Hills 60gr v-max,is it just drity ammo?

Depends. Your chamber might be a little on the big side. My DPMS does the same thing. Seems the brass is dirtier with lower power loads.

It's a Bushmaster Predator rifle.

The black hills might of used a dirtier powder than what you were used to. Was your other rifle a AR. They are dirty guns being direct impingement.

yes,it was a RRA Predator Pursuit,the shells were pretty clean out of it.
