Widow maker 223 Well-known member Dec 12, 2011 #2 Depends. Your chamber might be a little on the big side. My DPMS does the same thing. Seems the brass is dirtier with lower power loads.

Widow maker 223 Well-known member Dec 12, 2011 #4 The black hills might of used a dirtier powder than what you were used to. Was your other rifle a AR. They are dirty guns being direct impingement.
