a kiss upside da cranium with a blunt object is all used when i used to trap. a heart stomp after closes the deal. no coyote rides in my truck for free,one nice pelt is the going price for tundra rides.
if the idea of the heart stomp still scares you, try using a "y" stick to hold it's head down agaisnt the ground after you smack the critter. good luck!
