I've been reloading for about a year now. I'm thinking about getting an automatic powder dispenser. Any suggestions? I reload for everything. Thanks for the help guys
 
What ever you get, I always suggest a bench rest type micro adjustable unit. If you are going to take the time to reload, make sure the equipment you buy and use help you be the most accurate and importantly, consistent loader you can be.
 
I have the Lee powder measure and a Lyman powder trickler. I also use a conventional scale along with a digital scale to measure my loads. I'm OCD when it comes to my loads. This just seems like it might help when it comes to load development since I don't have a hand press to take to the range. I usually crank out 4-5 batches when I do load development and then narrow down to my best shooting load.
 
I've loaded thousands of rounds using a RCBS Chargemaster. Very seldom will I get an overcharge, and it's usually only a tenth of a grain if that happens. I'm loading prairie dog rounds for three different rifles, wouldn't use anything else.

Quite true. I now have a Lyman electronic and couldn't be happier. Much better way to reload. And it has been verified true against my a cd beam scale and check weights.

What do you like better in the Lyman over your chargemaster? I really like my chargemaster and I can't think of what I would do to make it better. I haven't played with the speed on it. I always thought it would be nice to have 2 of them going though.

I have this one and it fits on my bench better. Otherwise, the price was nice for me...If I had more space, it would likely be green.
 
I caught a heck of a deal on a hornady dispenser. It's given me fits twice with over-throw errors (that it catches and alarms for), but simply unplugging and restarting cleared it up.

I double check all of my charges on a balance beam (RCBS 505), I haven't had any variability beyond the 1/10th grain specification, which is about as good as I can hope to get on my balance beams anyway. And of course, I do my ladder testing to ensure that I'm within a wide forgiveness window such that 1/10th grain won't mean any significant change on my downrange result.

I didn't expect much out of the Hornady, but it's done me well. Had it for ~2yrs now I think, and I know I've loaded over 5,000rnds across it.
 
Chargemaster. I bought it of off gunbroker unused from a guy getting out of reloading for 150.00 Just be patient and watch all the sights. It took me about 6 months before I found my deal. I also use the uniflow while waiting to find a good deal on the Chargemaster. I find myself using the uniflow still some when loading handgun for speed. Love my Chargemaster.

I have used both the Chargemaster and the Hornady models. The only thing better I have seen than a Chargemaster is two Chargemaster's.
