WOW What a great bunch of fellers. Thanks for the responses and for the picture of that godzilla yote, obviously a yote wolf cross that the biologists talk about. I have a FLIR scope mounted on my AR with a can mounted as well. That stuff makes it heavy. You have to keep the thing up to your eyes, swinging it back and forth constantly to see anything coming in to the call. That's hard to do, and creates a lot of motion. I intend to use the IR scope by itself to initially spot any incoming, and immediately switch to the FLIR. It still gives me the blind eye, but there's no getting away from that. Walking around with one eye working and the other blind is not the safest thing I have ever done. I walked into a piece of woven wire fence the other night and found myself face down in the grass. All part of the fun.
