Question.... Do most hunters here use the metal spike feet on their tripods for hunting ? If not what type of hunting or shooting application would you use the rubber feet only on your tripod ? Thanks MD

I like the rubber feet personally because it is more quiet banging around in the backseat or truck bed and doesn't snag or gouge interior or other equipment.

No spikes here. Don't think they are really needed for where and how I hunt. Way too noisy for my likes out in some of the areas I hunt with stones, hard pack, ice, concrete, blacktop, wood.

Wow. I am really surprised by this. I am glad I have not put my metal spikes on. Might just keep them in the bag , keep them nice and clean. Ha ha. MD

NDAR15MAN, I'm pleased to see you're putting the tripod to use. I called and left a message a couple weeks ago to see if you got everything sorted. I personally use the spikes in snow and icy terrain. I use the rubber feet for everything else. It's nice to have the option though. I would suggest re-tightening the rubber feet by hand however because they aren't very tight from the factory. Thanks for your business!
