Do yotes like "chicken litter"?

One of my neighbors that I've taken night hunting rents his pasture. The renter had chicken litter hauled in all day I heard. There's usually some dead chickens in the stuff. Does any-one know what effect this has on the coyotes in the area? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif Will it draw them in or not make any difference?

If you happen to knock one down in that chicken litter, be advised: when you pick it up that ain't gum stuck in his fur, so don't use your good comb to get it out. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

If I knock one down in the chicken poop I wont be picking it up.
Wonder if that stuff will act as a cover scent? Na the coyote will say to himself "I smell a man covered in chicken poop."
I guess there are no combo chicken farmer/coyote hunters on here to answer my question.

I would be hard pressed to think that coyotes and foxes wouldn't be digging thru the mess to get a free meal. Keeping them out of the hen house is real hard to do so I know for a fact that they don't mind the smell and dearly love to make a snack of chickens.
 
GJ I used to hunt in an area that had lots of chicken farms. They spread the manure on the fiels and as you said, often there were daed birds in the mix. There were always coyotes around these areas.
I ve found that sometimes they wouldn't come to a dostress call as they were full of chicken. I have found the same in areas where the ranchers have a dead pile for cattle.
I have found that in these places that coyote vocalizations work well. I use a howler that is high picthed so as not to be too threatening. Howl a few times and wait a minute, howl a few times and wait. I continue this for 5-6 minutes then go to about a minute of non stop pup yelps. Wait a few the back on the howler. Usually the yelps are enough to get them coming.
 
Thanks Redfrog that makes sence to me. I just got me a good sounding howler finished and tested tonight, got 'em tore up something bad. I'll give it a try.
