Does anyone know of a bolt extension or bent bolt handle for Ruger 77/17?

Just getting all the yote guns tuned for the upcoming season. As some of you know, on larger scopes - the bolt handle can touch the scope. Looking for an extension or a bent downward knob to fit this gun.

Already have high rings, or extra high??? and a 30mm tube and whatnot. Might be a design i have to draw up and get milled and fabbed from a shop i guess

The bolt closed will not allow bending I don't think. I don't think you could get the action closed because of the stock.

Viper, I've got the same set-up but with a Bushnell Elite 3600. My bolt comes within 1/16th of making contact with the eye piece. So I have learned to palm the bolt handle up, pull it back with my pinkie finger and push it forward with the base of the thumb. After a while it became a habit to manipulate the bolt this way.

I do this as well, however what i mean is extending the bolt lever an inch then have about a 22.5 degree downturn on the bolt and it would be solved. Then i could really grab and cycle with gloves on for colder temps. Looking for better efficiency

I can draw a design and share it with you guys. Ill just match the ss type and have my metal guy fab it up. Not a NEED but i have a much larger scope than you guys are showing

Eyebox must be pretty good sized if having an issue with it hitting.

I honestly would send the scope down the road and get something with a smaller eyebox unless a new bolt handle was quite a bit cheaper and easier than a scope.

keep seeing you say eyebox. what is that?

Never in the way, a larger eyebox is easier to shoot .

Eyebox is not correct term, my bad.

Diameter of eyepiece is what I should have been saying. Smaller diameter will allow more room, out of my scopes my Leupolds have the smallest eyepiece.

I had the same problem trying to mount a Lupold M8 (fixed 6X) on a 77/22H......I was using low rings IIRC but I was he11 bent to use that combo so I thinned out a spot on the bolt knob with the radius on my belt sander and slapped some cold blue on it.....
It really didn't look bad.....the average Joe wouldn't even notice it.....
