Does RRA use CMMG barrels?!

Found a rock river at the local pawn shop today with a 20" 1:8 cmmg barrel and was wondering if this was a factory rifle. The lower was RRA with a flat top upper YHM quad rail A2 buttstock. Has a 2 stage trigger and a OD green pistol grip and rail covers

I really doubt that it is 'stock'...Unless there has been a great change recently, CMMG buys their barrels in bulk and stamps their own...Their rifles are assembled at their place in Howard county, MO...

I would surmise that this is something that someone has thrown together...and the upper was originally from CMMG, placed on a RR lower....

That's kinda what I was thinking OT. Are the CMMG uppers good?? I been seriously considering bringing her home. Maybe throwing throwing the upper on my NFA lower and getting a 16" upper from Dtech for the Rock lower. Price tag was 999 for the rifle

For a rifle assembled by the average Joe, I'd say the price is a bit high. I'd pay $800, but that's it. For a bit more, you can get a factory assembled rifle with a warranty or you could build a rifle yourself and know exactly what it is.

RRA uses Wilson barrels. It sounds like the lower is a factory RRA lower but the upper is a frankin build using parts from current manufacturers.

Yeah that same shop has a dpms and a S&W for 700. I don't
Like the sight post on them. Wanting flat top with a low
Pro gas lock and the lower already has the 2 stage trigger. I talked him down a bit on price and put it on hold gonna go pick her up on the 24th of this month
