Let me explain - i live in the middle of about 80 acres of oak woods. This time of year it gets cold and food for the birds and animals is a bit hard to find. Thus I have a deer feeder set up and several bird feeders around the house. Cheap TV, anyway the crows come in around the bird feeders, scarping up [beeep] the birdseed I put out for the cardinals. Now to prevent depleation of the cardinals I find it amusing to stick the 17 HMR winchester lowall barrel out one of the windows and blast the offending crow. This goes on for awhile, and then the crows disappear and won't even come around the house anymore. Now my problem is that since I enjoy shooting crows so much why is it they don't seem to share the same enjoyment?? damn inconsiderate if you ask me

Well, you're missing one ingredient to your crow recipe there. You need to set a speaker out by the feeder. As soon as you shoot the first crow, turn on a "Crow in Distress" tape. I guarantee they will stick around a little while longer, so you can enjoy each others company. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

lol either put that speaker their with crow distress or you can place decoys by the feeder when they leave in a day or two they will start coming back in numbers just dont shoot your decoys. lol
