Introducing the DPMS Prairie Panther in .223 Remington. This rifle is available in Mossy Oak Brush and King's Desert Shadow. It is equipped with a 20" 1x8 twist, stainless steel, fluted, teflon coated heavy barrel, carbon fiber free float tube, A3 flattop, skeletonized stock, DPMS 2 stage trigger, and a Magpul winter trigger guard.

I love that Mossy Oak Brush on there!

You guys are really getting cutting edge.

We, as predator hunters sure appreciate it too!

I'll bet that rifle does really well for you.

Its not listed on the DPMS site yet, but judging the others on the site Id say $1000+ & .223 only.

The carbon float tube will lighten it up a tad, but Id still want it in 1/9" twist myself & 18" bbl.

I'm still trying to finish my PD rig, now this comes along and there is another AR I want. Looks like I might end up with my fourth AR. Not sure how I will justify this one with the little lady though. I used the camo excuse on the last one.
Wait, it wasn't in mossy oak brush.....good to go.

That's one sick rifle! And, MO Brush and King's Desert Shadow are my two favorite "colors". If this thing shoots like my DPMS barreled .204, it's going to make an awesome calling rifle! Keep up the good work!

Will you offer an upgraded trigger group in the future?

We are currently going to offer it in only .223. You will be able to see both (Brush and Desert Shadow) on our website at the end of this month. The rifle weighs 7.1 lbs. and MSRP is $1,249.00

Yes the .204 would be better because, I personally don't like competing with the traditional AR .223 ammo users at the retail stores that shoot cheap assed ammo. Besides, the .204 is more ballistically superior to the .223. Also it holds more true to your "Prairie" mantra so the better choice is a .204 along with the .223.
