Drug Cartels Now Control Parts Of Arizona

Better yet, when will those signs change to:

DO NOT ENTER, PUBLIC LAND ACCESS DENIED!

because it's too dangerous.

I've seen these tresspassers from a distance, undetected, while hunting before. I often wonder what my reaction will be the next time it happens.

The really sad part about it is not the illegal activities, but the fact that our Federal Government in not willing to control the activities.....

This is America and I'm an American Citizen....I have the legal right to travel any part of it that is not private property and expect to be protected in a general manner by my government...By that, I mean they have an obligation to provide for my general security... It says so in the U S Constitution...

It sucks, but that part of the Buenes Aires Refuge has been closed for almost a year or two now.

Things can get pretty Western down in those parts from what I understand.

I heard something on Fox News that sounded to me like a new closure. That's what got me looking. What I posted was all I could find. I could be chasing my own tail, but what I heard gave me the impression of being something recent.

Maybe that's what's needed.

Nice little collection!
Enough to equip at least two, maybe three, infantry companies!
I assume these belong to some drug cartel or gang? The turf wars they are having amongst themselves would explain that.
I would bet that the M16's came (stolen) from the Mexican Gov't, probably sold to them by our gov't in the first place.

RPG's, .50 rifles, M16's/AK's, and a single shot rifle and a Win. 94 .30-30!!

Would not want to run into the owners while out by myself with my .243 bolt gun...or even my trusty M1 and a pile of ammo...

Things are way out of hand.

Well, one reason could be the 30 million acres of BLM, private, and forest they are trying to take as "Wilderness" under the Antiquities Act....

The ONLY thing required is that the president signs that he wants it. Then they close EVERYTHING down, lock it up, and don't allow ranching, hunting, driving, etc....

....EXCEPT that won't make any difference to drug smugglers will it? They will still use it for their own purposes, except the activity will go pretty much un-checked.

The total area pretty much closes AZ & NM to public access if it's allowed.

When you're right, you're right...

Jeff, By the looks of those weapons, the Sheriff really is outgunned. In fact, it looks like a job for OUR Military, but why haven't they been deployed there? Oh yeah, a "token" show of force has been sent down already, what an effing joke!

They'll close more before it's over. Just watch.

Now, taking into account that possession is 9 10th's of the law, WHO do you think controls that area?

If Bam-Bam was a decent leader he'd send the Special Forces in there to kill every SOB big enough to die, and secure the border.

Anyone actively predator hunting in South of Phoenix is in now danger of coming in contact with illegals smuggling narcotics. Many of us have had tense encounters with illegals and it is just a matter of time until there is a shooting involving a hunter. Who fires the first shot is up for grabs.
