This is now, wind was ahead of a thunderstorm, the rain never made it to the ground.

How are you hiding the Floridas? It's been really tough out there? Looks like another year with minimal quail.... Hope all are doing well.

Had some of that over here too. We have had more than twice as many brown-out days this year as the running average. If we don't get a decent monsoon, half of NM will be over in TX before the year's out.

They are talking above average monsoon for SW AZ but map shows it to only nudjing the west side of NM.

Residents including old-timers say this year has been the worst year for dust storms in there memory.

That sucks. I was starting to get hopeful because monsoon activity seems to ramping up earlier this year than recent years.

I'm not a hard core old-timer, but I've been here for 30 years and this is the worst I can remember.

I was looking up NM and they are just giving it a 50/50 change of being above normal with most activity in August and September. That late won't help the little critters. Just have to wait and see.

My daughter just moved here and hates the dust and we're trying to convince her this year is an anomaly.

Where in NM are you located?

Our June down in SWGA has been polar opposite from last June. So far a little over 3” of rain and we went like 27 straight days last year with no measurable precipitation.
