E-Caller and wind question???

OK, I have always used hand calls so I have a question about using e-callers. I know I am getting a Scorpion for Christmas, and am so excited! How far downwind do you usually set up from your caller? I guess I am assuming that you would set up downwind so you have a better chance of seeing the coyote? I know the answer would vary, but I just want to get an idea from some of you other users. I definately see this as an advantage on windy days when it is tough to call with hand calls. What do you guys think? Thank you in advance for the input!

I usually use the JIB in conjunction with the ecaller, but I call with the wind, quartering most of the time with low volume. I sit down on the shade side of a tree or bush at a point higher than where I place the ecaller and decoy when possible, with the wind taking my scent in the direction I feel the coyote is least likely to come from. It doesn't work all the times as you can never say never with coyotes. But the setup is the most important part, and you can usually use the wind to your advantage if you think out your setups.

Thank You so much for that info. I really love this site because guys like you share this stuff. There is a lot to be learned about hunting predators. You gotta love it thou!
