I started experimenting on a home made e-caller. I started out trying to rewire and handheld megaphone and that really didn't work. So I used the speaker out of the megaphone and got a Radio Shack amp that everyone uses. I hooked the amp to the speaker and hooked a radio up to the amp. Just to make sure it worked. Well it worked great. Then I unplugged the cord to the radio and put it in a mp3 player and couldn't hardly hear anything. I wasn't really using a mp3 player, I was using my cell phone. It is supposed to be a mp3 player so I assume it would work the same. The speaker is only a 10 or 15 watt. Do I need to go to a bigger speaker or try different types of players (cd player, tape, mp3, whatever) and see what happens. I was going to wait till this friday and go get a mp3 player while they are cheap for BLACK FRIDAY.
