eating bobcat?

after 21 years in the Army and being stationed or deployed to every POS country/area this great world has to offer i have eaten some strange things. i saw the bobcat episode and it looked pretty good. i have had housecat, rat pies, dog fillets, chicken crap that was made into a white sauce, monkey, fish on a stick, and just about any other animal you can imagine. the only food that has really turned my stomach is blutwurst from the Black Forest in Germany (10 years consecutive there) i just could not take the fact that i was eating cooked blood. yuck! next cat, if ever, i'm gonna BBQ him up!!

good feedback thx- a buddy and i are planning to rig a cardboard box with a video camera and toss a yote up on the meat counter at the game processing shops around town while asking for yote sticks- we laugh so hard at this- but he leaves for the box shortly so we may have to wait. I have eaten everything- but this cooked kitty seemed like an acceptable practice so i thouhgt to ask. thanks again.

wow surprised to hear cat edible. The general rule of thumb is if it eats meat it doesn't taste too great or so I thought. I guess I might aswell eat them since they would surely eat me and my beagle haha.

I hear coyote is ok if you make it into jerky so is jackrabbit but other then that its pretty bad.

I plan on trying it if I can ever get one, there kicking my but here in western Washington. Had a couple close calls but couldn't finish the deal. Dave

I don't have to eat predators to stay alive. Until I do, I'll worry about it then. I'm not a fussy eater either, but I like to eat animals that eat grasses and vegetation, not meat and carrion. I've eaten kagogi, lizard, snake, turtle, and plenty of horse. Roadkill, you are right about that blutwurst: NASTY! (Seven years in Germany).

now Kai Goki is Dog and they eat meat?! LOL! when i was in Korea a dog steak was quite expensive at a good resteraunt. I forgot about horse and mule! about 12 years ago there was a guy here that would have a wild burro roast every year. he quit a few years back but when put in a pit BBQ, man that was good. what years and where at in Germany where you? My FIL could eat a pile of blutwurst and never blink an eye, i still get shivers thinking about it.

I grew up with coons being sold for the meat having to have 1 foot left on the carcass. Same as the cats/rabbits during the depression, small dogs were being sold as coon. Look at a skinned coon, looks like a small dog.

I've had goose blood soup.(Polish upbringing) But you guys are right about the blutwurst. I've tried it but I couldn't eat much of it. Got a German wife so I've eaten my share of things Americans in general wouldn't even begin to try. I guess I should say Young Americans in general.
