soreloser, That looks delightful.
I have never had it or lion but I would not hesitate to try some. I have eaten
Woodchuck, muskrat, beaver, bear, elk, moose, deer, coon, squirll and many different game birds along with robin starling and barn pigeon. Frog legs, turtle etcetera along with all kinds of fish.

Jeez I'm hungry now.

I eat good potato salad before but did not get home before I was a little /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif green. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Coon! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif yucky yuk I think I would rather eat coyote than coon. Coons to me are nasty, I hate skinning them or even handling them.

I ate mine I shot this year, told the wife if I get one Im gonna try it well I lived up to my word, Id have to say I seen nothing bad about it, I will be pulling all the straps on the next one too. The meat was just like pork texture and color after cooking it, I bread it then fry it like a porkchop its a little smaller than a regular chop but just as good. One of my buddies tryed it also and loved it my son is not a big meat eater and he tore that stuff up!

Funny how some people are so weird about the thought of eating "cat." Probably my fovorite game meat out there is Mountain lion. I like it better than Elk even. Funny how many people think oh it is cat yuck!. It is all a mental thing. I ate some of a bobcat I shot. I didnt think is was as good a mountain lion.

I was always taught not to eat anything that also eats meat... /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I take it that you dont eat Pig then turtle /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smiliesmack.gif. Or chicken, or fish, or Turkey? /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif All four of those animals eat meat and are considered excellant table fair anywhere in the world. Not sure if you have ever been around Pigs but they are very omniverous. They will eat anything, including raw meat. What does eating meat have to do with anything when it comes to how well an animal might taste on the dinner table?
Makes no sense to me. I have never eaten Bobcat but would like to. I have eaten Frog, Snake, Shark, Alligator, Mountain Lion and yes, even Turtle all of which eat meat in one form or another and they were all very tasty and I would eat anyone of them again.

It can also be a religious thing. Eat whatever you choose, but don't feed it to people without telling them what they are eating.
