Heres something for you guys to think about, caller volume....
So one very important thing I've learned over the years is caller volume for those that use ecallers. I have found that I have had MUCH better results using the bare minimum volume. In the eastern US this is super important for a multitude of reasons. Coyotes in the east has a much smaller home range and won't come from miles like they do in the west. Lower volume allows you to make a stand and not have to drive as far to your next. Lower volume confuses coyotes and draws them much closer allowing better shots. It also keeps ever house dog from barking and waking up the county!
I apply this same technique out west by starting out low and working up in volume. This gives you the opportunity to kill the close ones first before the long traveled ones can even hear the sound of the caller. Coyotes absolutely come from LONG LONG ways out west unlike in the east so ending your stand with lots of volume is certainly ok out there. I also spend much more time on a stand out there because coyotes do travel so far.
Wind obviously kills the travel of sound so you will have to adjust accordingly.
Hopefully this tip ups your game..
