electronic powder measure which one?

I have finally after 30 years made the decision to either get an RCBS or LYMAN electric powder measure and scale.can any one suggest one or the other based on use over the last year? pros or cons. thanks

I had the Lyman and got rid of it because of the long warm up before use, slow dispensing time, difficulty with clean up to change powder and tedious calibration. I have heard the new models have addressed some of these problems?

I bought the RCBS Chargemaster and have been extremely happy with it and have none of the problems associated with the Lyman.

For 50 years I used the drop tube measures and balance beam scales and I will never go back to them.

I'll be the oddball. I have the Lyman II. The warmup time is a bit of a bear, but you can stop the warmup time and just calibrate it yourself. For small drops like a .223/.243, it will put it in the tray just about as fast as you can put it in the case and seat a bullet. I use it for the longer extruded powders, which do not throw very well.

I know a couple of folks who really like the chargemaster (but that is obvious from the replies). I do not find clean up to take too long, and I have found it to be consistent. If you are an RCBS fan, go with the chargemeaster, you will always second guess yourself if you don't. If your bench looks anything like mine with various and sundry name brands floating around, I would think either is a good choice.

I've had the RCBS Chargemaster for about 6 months or so now, and I love it. I haven't used it on anything smaller than my 243, I mainly bought it for throwing RL19 and RL22 for my bigger rifles. I have about 1000 cases of 223 ready to rock, and one of these days I'm going to get to throwing charges for them.
