His eyesight has been fading for years and now Parkinsons has taken hold. This year for the first time he said he just doesnt think he can go at all. Not great photography skills on my part but of all my coyote photos this one grabs my attention every time because I remember this stand 3 or 4 years ago like yesterday and know the significance of closing out a lifetime of hunting.View attachment 3742

Here's mine. It's the last hunt my Dad ever made. And he and I both knew it was the last one. Cancer was beating down his door. It was a Thanksgiving morning. Me and Dad told all the ladies of the family (which outnumbered us a dozen to two and now outnumber me a dozen to one), that we were going to go kill a coyote before dinner was ready. And by gawd, we did.
