extraction problem for .204 TC Venture and problems with TC in general

finally heard back from them! just to hear that a new rifle wont be here till the 2nd-3rd week of November! AWESOME! guess i wont be going that route anymore!

best of luck to those who do!

TC is still getting settled in from the move to S&W, and new employees are getting trained so i think there will be a transition period for a while. Plus with the move and the tooling being shut down they are extremely behind on all of their products. there was significant issues with TC from their old plant and management and the move to S&W is to fix that but like anything it take time for fix problems.

I hope they get you taken care of soon.

FWIW, I had great luck with TC and their customer service(the couple times I had to use them) before S&W took over. I'm sure with switching things around there will be delays and long waits for some unfortunate people.

To the OP, hope the rifle comes back sooner than expected.

When I had to send my Icon back last year, I called them nearly everyday between 8 and 9 am. I don't know if they got tired of dealing with me or if it was just luck but, I had a brand new replacement rifle within 3 weeks of shipping the defective rifle back to them.

Sorry to hear you are having such problems.

Im sure, you have to have great CS when you have so many production issues, i just hope they get the OP all fixed up. I agree, call them everyday with the same issue, maybe youll get it quicker.

Using that logic, Leupold must have a ton of production issues as everyone raves about how awesome their customer service is!

Got my first TC product in 1991 and have owned several since that time. I have also known quite a few other people who have them without any issues. Last year was the first time I had a defective product. TC took care of it promptly. The other time I dealt with CS was with a ramrod that I broke. They sold me a new one and shipped it promptly.

I was told by one of their CS reps last year that the CS department employed total of 5 reps. Either that means S&W cut the department or they don't have that many issues.

Sorry for hijacking the post. TC should take care of this problem in a more efficient manner!

Thats not what i said,i said you have to have good CS if you have issue, NOT that every good CS means that, and i agreed they need to get it taken care of,

I think we both agree the problem should have already been fixed. A man spent his hard earned money on a rifle that he can't even
shoot!

I thought this was the Remington thread for a second.....

Here we go again......

LOOK AT THE TIME OF YEAR PEOPLE.

Nothing else needs to be said.

If this means its hunting season, so go hunt, I have been out hunting everyday for the last two weeks, and hunted most of Sept. but not sure what that has to do with discussing things on a forum designed for discussing these things?
