Extreme Dimensions Phantom Pro-Series call

After using Johnny Stewart rabbit distress tapes with mixed success over the years, I recently bought a phantom pro electronic call with the wireless remote. (I used my Cabelas points) Is it just me, or does the calls sound terrible? I haven't called anything up on it. I don't have the Predator 2 series of calls. Are they any better? Has anyone out there had any luck with it? I'm new to using different calls at different times, etc, so any help would be appreciated. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused1.gif

I have a Phantom Pro Series wireless call and I think it is worthless. The wireless transmitter only works up to 30 feet away from the caller. I have been very disappointed with the performance of it. It has ruined more opportunities to call something because of being so problematic. I agree with you that the sounds are not that great either. Bad product!
 
I also have one of these and had the same problem with the remote not wanting to work so I took it back to cabelas and they gave me a new one, now it works great!!!! I can honestly say it will work out to 200 yards, and your also right with the sounds that comes on the original. The predator2 sounds are way better. Knowing now that i coulda got a FoxPro for around another 100.00 i wouldn't have spent the money on it or the predator2 sound card.
