I saw a neoprene mask or something like that but it was black so i did not get it . It had a raised area for your nose and mouth which I thought would be comfortable. Anybody on here have experience with those ? Lodgepole

I have a pile of head coverings, the one I use the most when it is cold is a polar fleece type balaclava. Loose fitting for a little air movement but can be cinched down tight and warm. Also has a built in extra neck flap on the inside which really keeps the back of your neck warm.

Brad the main reason I want face covered is to not be seen. Do you think that is important (face covered)I have used other mask bow hunting and they were not very comfortable.

Yes, either covered or in a shadow. Need to take the glare off, and try to change the outline.

I actually cover my face quite a bit when hunting, Squirrel, Turkey, Predator, Waterfowl, etc.

I keep looking for something that allows me to see well but still hides my face. Most seem to obscure your vision if you turn your head . Thanks for your response.

I have used many types,,, camo face paint was best to me, second was a black mesh netting,,, dont need anything in the winter any more face hair is almost gray/white anymore LOL

I wear a white balaclava. It had two eye holes but I cut the connector in the middle. It offers good field of view now and can wear it with glasses.

If you wear glasses a ski mask will fog them up. A neck scarf with a head gillie will keep you warm. I make my own with a sniper headnet and yarn.

I wear one every time I go out, depending on what is going on outside (weather wise ) if there is snow on the ground, I wear white, it not just a good camo one.

I am going to sew up the sides of a wool balaclava that is almost white,I took out the center stitches that made two eye holes last winter. Now the opening is too wide so I will close it up some on either side.

I use the White Under Armour cold gear baclava to keep my face and cheeks warm. It gets hot when your dragging coyotes back to the truck though. I use the other Under Armour baclava's in different camouflages if there is no snow.
