facemasks?

I was wondering how many of you guys wear facemasks while predator hunting. I just got a set of brand new camo and I might just have to get the facemask if I can find it depending on what you guys say.
 
I use a camo fleece HEADSOCK in the winter months when it gets cold and rainy. In the warmer months I use a light weight face mask like the ones sold for turkey hunters. I also use either camo gloves or at least dark colored gloves anything that will prevent a coyote from seeing any flash movements of light skin.

The two body parts that move the most on a calling stand are your head and your hands,
I feel they are the most critical to cover.
Do a test have a friend that is completely camo covered, including his hands and head sit in a stand like situation now walk out away from him 100 yards turn around and look at him. Now have your friend take off his gloves and head cover.
have him turn his head as if he were looking the terrain over for a possible incoming coyote. Now have him move his hands from his lap to the ground as if he is adjusting the volume on his caller. Remember a coyote will be able to see what you see and a lot better than you can.
 
I always have my face and hands covered while call .Like the two post before me said it does make a differance. grayfox
 
Camao for the face is a must. I don't no about the hands but I'm sure I wouldn't hurt any. Does anyone know where you can find a snow camo face mask? Preferrably the light mesh type.
 
I always wear a mask or face camo when hunting deer or predators. I went out calling with a friend 2 years ago, he had on all camo but his face. I was calling and had him go about 300-350 yards downwind in a fence row that cut acrossed an open area and strip of swamp between us. He blended in perfectly. I could not pick him out at all. Except his face! It practically glared out saying here I am. We did not call in anything although there was fresh sign in the area. Maybe there wasn't anything there but if there was I'm quite certain it would have been able to pick him out. I usually hunt alone but if I do go hunt with someone I now make sure they have some kind of face camo.

I'd like to find the same thing! Been using a turkey mask but when we get snow I'd love to find a mesh, snow camo mask instead of trying to work around a fleece one! Let us know if you find anything!

If your face looks like it caught on fire and someone tried to put it out with a pitchfork a facemask might be good to keep from scaring off the dog's! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have called in dog's with and without facemasks but I tend to agree with the others that your probably better off with one than without.
 
I also think a facemack is a must. The gloves I use every once in a while. Have had them come right up to me without them. I think the suns position is important too. I try to have the sun at my back as much as possible so they are looking into the sun. Use shadows as much as you can.
 
To newman101: Cabela's carries a light weight face mask in Snow Realtree camo that I wear with my my Snow Realtree one piece winter coveralls. It's big enough to wear warmer headgear under it as well. The coveralls are reversible with Advantage Timber on the other side you can wear when there is no snow. In warm weather I usually wear the mesh type head covering that covers your whole head so you have a choice of wearing a hat or not. I will say the Snow Realtree is awesome, I've had people walk by within a couple of yards from me and never see me. I always cover my hands and face, they stand out like a sore thumb in the woods and fields.
 
Face masks are part of my camo program. I'd probably scare those coyotes to death if they saw my bare face /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif
