Factory rifles that shoot 1/2 MOA all day long?

I have a pair of CZ 527's in 204 that are as close as I have ever owned. Fed handloads they are impressive. Factory ammunition is a different story..LOL

My Savage 12 FV 223 is pretty close, it regularly shoots in the .5's or less in decent conditions.  Multiple 5-shot groups on the same sheet of paper (3-shot groups are much smaller).  It can do this with four different bullets and only one of those is something anyone would consider a "match" grade bullet, the others are varmint bullets with some of the worst BCs available.

*I am not a benchrest shooter and have never competed with a rifle.  I only go to the range a few times a year to work up loads on targets or sight in.

Factory Savage 12 FV 223
26" original heavy barrel
Accutrigger
Flimsy plastic stock, bedded with Devcon, steel rod bedded into forend, and painted
Nikon Buckmasters 6-18x40
Leupold rings, lapped
Harris bipod
Rear bag

Hadn't shot this rifle in over a year, put the scope back on and fired these while sighting in.  This is my old varmint load.

I just tried a new bullet this week.  I fired two foulers and then four groups of 5 each varying by 0.5gr powder.  All groups are in the 0.5's.  I'll have to go back to 200 yards and test again.  This rifle shoots better than I do.

This is an old target working up my old load.  That's actually four different seating depths varying by 0.010".

I could tighten up the groups with a better scope, better stock, and better rests. But I use this rifle in the field to hunt varmints, I don't want a bulkier setup. I had a B&C Medalist stock on it for a while that rode the bags on a bench a lot better, but it felt too "big".

All of mine do. If they don't......they don't get to live at my house very long. Of course this is with my handloads tailored for each rifle. Factory ammo is a different story but some of them stil do pretty well with it.

My Winchester HV 222 will. No problem. My CZ 527 is in the 5's most of the time and my old 12fvss in 22-250 would stay in the .500 range with a few groups that were under. Not as consistent now that it is getting shot out.

That Midway target works well for me, it's a free PDF you just print your own. I added the orange stickers that I got at a garage sale way back.

My original Ruger M77V .220 Swift would. And my CZ 527 American in .221 Fireball was my latest. Last year the Furball started losing its ability to shoot those dime sized groups and I sent it off and and got a new barrel on it. Happy days are here again.

My 527 223 will do even better than that any time. I shoot Lapua brass, 450s, 55 Noslers and benchmark. The load works year round. It is a factory varmint barrel. I did skim bed the rifle.

My Browning A bolt in .243 with the BOSS system shoots quarter size groups all day. Figuring out the setting for each load can burn up ammo, though.

Factory Tikka CTR Stainless 260 will shoot 1/2"-5/8" steady, with the 120gr SST or the 140gr SST.

If you're getting larger groups than you want odds are it's your problem and not the rifle. I've found i can get any rifle to shoot that well just by learning and employing 1 simple skill.

Stop shooting so many bullets.

I've got a couple rifles that i limit to 1 shot groups but still manage to get 1 holers in every target.

I'm thinking of writing a book.

I think there are so many variables involved with a rifle, trigger weight/pull, scope/mounts, rests, shooter, and ammo to name a few that there are a lot more rifles themselves that are capable than many realize.
