Fair Chase?

Spiderman, I do believe that there is a place for it (pen type hunts). Just not for me! It does give a lot of people the chance to hunt that would not otherwise hunt do to jobs, time, handicaps, or just pure lazyness. I have gone on several hunts and never even took the gun out of the house for the hunt. For me it is just getting out and seeing wild life, not someones pets. I have enough of them. I am glad to see that you do raise some of the things for others to have a chance to experience the "shoot". (not intended to offend)

It sounds a bit bitter to me I do not participate in that type of hunting but where does it stop?Does a man that leases property fall into a similar category or a rich man that owns thousands of acres should he be stopped?Where does it end just because you do not like the waysomeone does something they are wrong and you are right. What about the people that think you should not hunt at all.Oh I'm sorry that is talking about what you want to do and you cant have that. You just want to stop what you do not like because you are right,oh I get now.Maybe we should worry about our rights in general instead of impeading on others.Everyone is good at talking about someone trying to stop them from what they want to do then turn around and talk about stopping someone else from doing what they want, because they dont agree. What is the difference?

I don't mind high fence hunts as long as it covers a huge amount of acreage. I'm mean miles and miles of land for them to run. I don't mind someone paying someone to keep track of an Elk herd. All guides should know where the elk should be.
Now that I'm disabled and can't climb up and down the mountains anymore then I may have to use one of these other types of hunts.
But I think if someone is healthy and can climb the mountains then they should do it. It is much more rewarding to track a herd and find your very own Bull then it is to have someone else do it for you. So maybe the high fence ranchs and such should lower their prices and help out the people that can't get around anymore. If the prices were low enough I might do it. But for now I will drive to a clear cut and hope for the best. My days of getting anything big is over unless I pay big cash for my game. It sucks not being able to get out there and climb anymore. But who knows maybe the big one will get chased out infront of me some day.
