I don's think there would be large exit holes with the Barnes LRX bullets. That is there long range bullet and it performs like all the other TTSX bullets, its just longer with a higher BC. I use the 145 gr LRX in my 7mm RUM and it hammers the big game but since it petals back and does not come apart, the exit holes are just slightly larger than the entry holes.
I am sure if you took one through the shoulder and pushed some bone out the other side you might get a bigger hole but I would not hesitate to use them on coyotes.
