Favorite .17 Remington loads with 25 grain bullets

Here's another forum a short while back where I posted some photos of groups I got.

Aint you sweet to think of my behalf, Dustin! What a pal you are! Gosh, is that a tear coming down my cheek?

No, as much as I hate to think it very soon I will be laboring in my garage over my reloading bench in an attempt to make even better .17 ammunition. Worse yet I will have to take the ammo that I have loaded into the field and test it out on small furry whiskered little animals. Tough job but someone has to do it.

Thanks for the offer, but I guess that I will keep what I got.

Here is another load for my Tikka 595 24.2gr IMR4320, Rem 7 1/2BR, 25gr Hornady HP, OAL 2.206", Unknown velocity. It has shot groups as small as 1/4".
Here's another for my Remington Model 7 24.2gr IMR4320, Rem 7 1/2BR, 25gr Hornady HP, OAL 2.223, 3497fps, shooting about an inch. This gun has never been as accurate.

I have also developed loads for the Tikka with CFE223 @ 4221fps and H322 @ 3926fps that shoot excellent.

25.8gr CFE223, Rem 7 1/2BR, 25gr Hornady HP, OAL = 2.206", Velocity = 4221fps

Thanks, i am going to try it, years ago i tried reloader 15 and got over 4200fps and it shot tight also_Originally Posted By: crowslayer17Originally Posted By: dennydWhats your load with cfe223?Originally Posted By: crowslayer17The earlier load I gave was in a Sako S491.
