For prone I like a small backpack best. Any other time I usually just use a sling.

I use a swiveling harris bipod("9 to "13) for shooting prone and homemade shooting sticks for sitting.

Im thinking about a Harris Bipod. They have a model that swivels around now or even that bog pod tripod...

Are you speaking of shooting off the bench to sight in and work up loads or shooting in the field?
